RIFF RAFF

THE RIFF RAFF take you back to 1976 Bon Scott era ACCA DACCA - loud, raw, rock n roll. Featuring Melbourne’s cream of musos led by Willie J & the Bad Books front man WILLIE J plus members of Thunderstruck,  Hot Machine, Serotonia & Tequila Mockingbird! After sold out shows in 2023 at Cherry Bar and LuliePalooza, the bands taking the show to the next level on stages across Victoria and Australia in 2024.

SUPER AMERICAN EAGLE

Melbourne power trio, Super American Eagle deliver manna for heavy rock fans craving detours into noise, psych, pop and sludgy dank, herbal grooves.  A union delivered via chance, Brent DeBoer of The Dandy Warhol’s, Dave Mudie from the Courtney Barnett band and Bob Harrow of Immigrant Union, played an impromptu Immigrant Union NYC show as a three-piece. That night the chemistry was undeniable and so Super American Eagle took flight. Known for their individual talents, the trio take control of the destination, reveling in the creative liberty that beats at the head of the project. From a lightening moment of musical connection Super American Eagle have built thrilling, fuzz-filtered songs that deliver both on stage and record.

The bands recent debut album received PBS's album of the week as well as being spun by the Godfather of punk, Iggy Pop on his BBC radio show...Iggy even sang along over the track.  The band were also the Apple Music's (rock) feature artist.

Although the band are only really getting started, they have already shared stages with groups such as, The Southern River Band, Grace Cummings, The Super Jesus and The Meanies as well as appearing at Cherry Rock fest and playing their own packed-out headline shows.

"Super American Eagle, offer up an album that marks a complete change of pace for all three musicians and the Melbourne music scene as a whole. Super American Eagle isn’t just an album that surprises; it’s an invigorating take on punk-rock that’ll undoubtedly set the modern rock world alight." - Forte Magazine

"...they pay extended homage to heavy psych and stoner rock from decades past, all the while incorporating enough precision and invention to refresh the familiar darkness" - Apple Music

Foggy Notion

Originally formed in 2016, Maxine Fink and Shyam Carroll moved to Melbourne with the intent to form the best band they could scrape together in the big city. The result is a unique group now known for their driving rhythms, high energy live shows, blunt lyricism and country image. Now, as a five piece, Foggy Notion have been paying their dues in and around Melbourne, and tearing it up amongst the locals. Having played with bands like; Drunk Mums, Bananagun, Black Bats, Mesa Cosa and a whole bunch more, Foggy Notion are finding their fresh blend of 60’s garage rock and country, to be a welcomed addition to the Melbourne rock scene.

HOGWASH

Hogwash is a rowdy group of rock n rollers hailing from the swamps of Melbourne. With a southern-fried sound so good it will make you want to slap your mammy, Hogwash let their freak flag fly at any opportunity. Don’t you dare miss a chance to come and get dirty with the Hogs!

The Alley Stranglers

The Alley Stranglers are a crusty bunch of punk rock surfies from Phillip fucken Island who prioritize a good time more than a long time. With musical chops reminiscent of Pennywise and Mudhoney combined, their energetic tunes capture the spirit of good times and freedom, and are a true representation of the surfy culture of their part of the world. Strictly no acoustic guitars allowed!

Ozone Street

Ozone Street is not just any band; they're a vibrant force to be reckoned with on the local music scene. Comprised of a dynamic group of 20-somethings, Ozone Street brings a refreshing blend of vintage blues and surf-inspired melodies that transport audiences to sun-soaked shores and dimly lit blues bars.

Lost Atlas

Alt Rock/Punk band Lost Atlas delivers ear candy to satisfy your cravings for 90s inspired distortion & filthy riffs. Never taking themselves too seriously, Lost Atlas shows are high energy and a ton of fun.

Blue Sabbath

The world’s first Post Apocalyptic Steampunk Blues Two Piece Black Sabbath Tribute Band, Blue Sabbath crank  a lapsteel guitar through a Marshall Stack and attack the drums like a machine gun. Sliding back in time from the year 2099 where the 2030 global financial collapse brought the world to a technological standstill still, armed with only their grandfather’s record collection and primitive instruments, the lords of the Apocalypse make their debut performance at Arockalypse 2024.

JUNGLE JIM SMITH

Armed with a 3-string cigar box guitar, trusty 6-string, and stompin’ foot drums, Jungle Jim Smith is a one-man-blues show with a rock’n’roll heart. Delivered with a raw vocal croon, his electrifying blend of swamp and hill country blues pumps with rockabilly grit, forging a full-band sound uniquely his own. Last year’s 7-track debut ‘Electric Boogieland’ was released to a great response, with a follow up album planned for 2024.
