In recent years, Ian has mesmerized audiences with his solo performances, effortlessly handling vocals, guitar, and harmonica duties simultaneously. Channeling the spirit of blues greats such as Dr. Ross and Jimmy Reed, Ian delivers an authentic down-home blues sound, showcased in his 2014 release "Swamp Stomp and Boogie."
Alongside his work with Collard Greens and Gravy and Three Kings, Ian collaborates with Australia’s premier blues band, the Backsliders. His harmonica prowess has graced albums by esteemed Australian artists like Claire Bowditch, Jeff Lang, and Ash Grunwald, with standout performances even featured on Baz Luhrmann's international hit "Everybody’s Free to Wear Sunscreen."
In 2012, Ian's talents reached new heights when he sang and played harmonica with the Australian Ballet as part of their 50th birthday celebration in the Ballet "Swee dee dee."
